Crazy cartoons
Here is a collection of cartoons that are most definitely not suitable for children.
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
The three little pigs have really upset the big bad wolf this time. He is hot on their trail, intent on revenge. The porcine pals come up with a cunning plan to thwart his murderous intent. Surely their scheme cannot go awry, can it? (This clip is taken from an old East European cartoon series called Pilot if memory serves but despite an extensive web search I can no longer find it).
Oh, the horror.
One of my favourite segments of Aaagh! It's the Mr. Hell Show! was called Hell Before Bedtime in which the diabolical host would regale viewers with a blood chilling tale of terror. This story seems to have been inspired by a popular children's cartoon. See if you can guess which one.
Pessimistic penguins.
Not all penguins are the happy go lucky creatures that you might imagine them to be. German penguins seem particularly prone to pessimism, as you can see in this clip.
Dear Margery Boobs (NSFW).
In the world of animation Bob Godfrey is quite rightly regarded as a legend, having brought the world such classic series as Henry's Cat. Apart from his great kid's cartoons he also made a number of adult themed animations of which this is a fine example. Dear Margery Boobs takes the form of a series of letters (with graphic illustrations) between the titular agony aunt and Worried Streatham on the subject of the latter's peculiar sexual peccadilloes. Contains flashing images (no pun intended other than the obvious one).
Serge the seal cub.
This clip is from a little known TV show gem called Aaagh! It's the Mr. Hell Show! and features one of the show's most iconic characters. Serge is the cutest cuddly little seal cub you ever did see. Until he encounters anyone wearing fur.
Thingu.
If you like Pingu and you like The Thing you will absolutely love Thingu.
The New Testament party crew.
Should you believe everything the bible tells you? This is the question asked by a youngster in a clip from the spoof children's show Wonder Showzen. The answer he gets may surprise you.
