Strange Cinema 01
Strange, surreal and sexy video clips from the movies.
An unorthodox migraine treatment (NSFW).
This post marks a reprise for the 1970s German sex comedies which were such a mainstay of fleapit cinema entertainment in the days of Your Humble Blogger's misspent youth. Here's a clip from the 1978 offering Schoolgirl Report 12: Carnal Campus in which a plumber who is fixing a leak at a doctor's surgery can't help playing dress up and fantasising about being a GP who gets to check out nude girls when a concerned mother arrives with her daughter Gabi (Johanna Ebertseder) who suffers from migraines. The bogus doctor is placed in a dilemma: he can admit his imposture or pretend to treat Gabi's migraines by manipulating her boobs. What would you do?
CMNF alien abduction (NSFW).
While calling the 1974 sex comedy Wam Bam Thank You Spaceman abysmally awful would be doing a disservice to abysses and awfulness it does at least feature a few amusing abduction scenes such as this one where unfortunate Earth babe Shirley (Maria Arnold) is beamed aboard for some alien probing.
A strange CMNF scene (NSFW).
Much of the action in the 1968 comedy For Men Only takes place at the rural mansion which serves as headquarters of the titular girly magazine and where scantily clad and nude girls can be found in abundance. While this seems like an earthly paradise to me, staff photographer Rudy is far from happy with his lot: he simply can't understand what anyone sees in bare babes. Later in the film he lands a job photographing scantily clad men which he finds much more to his taste. Well, as the old saying goes "It takes all sorts to make a world".
Minks and a naked minx (NSFW).
Three chaps hunting for ginseng are startled to discover saucy minx Mien Mien (Carrie Seo Yeong-Ran) laying naked in the snow in the completely bonkers 1978 kung fu caper Naked Comes the Huntress. Apparently the reason for this is that the mink is inexorably drawn to bare babes, making it a doddle to catch the little critters. This seems a little unlikely to me but as an empiricist I think it's worth conducting a few bare babe based experiments to test the theory. (Purely in the interests of advancing scientific knowledge, you understand).
Dear Margery Boobs (NSFW).
In the world of animation Bob Godfrey is quite rightly regarded as a legend having brought the world such classic series as Henry's Cat. Apart from his great kid's cartoons he also made a number of adult themed animations of which this is a fine example. Dear Margery Boobs takes the form of a series of letters (with graphic illustrations) between the titular agony aunt and Worried Streatham on the subject of the latter's peculiar sexual peccadilloes. WARNING: contains flashing images (no pun intended other than the obvious one).
A freaky treat (NSFW).
If you could do with some domestic help about the place but fret that you might not be able to afford it then you need a home help like Adèle (Lina Romay) from the 1974 movie Plaisir à trois. For Adèle is an ardent masochist who is always happy to receive a sound thrashing in lieu of payment. In this scene her employer, Martine (Alice Arno), generously rewards her for a job well done.
Musical mice.
Here's another fine example of surreal cinema from the Monty Python crew, taken from the 1971 movie And Now for Something Completely Different, which should probably not be viewed by animal lovers.
